Sleepy Sharky Order Delivery Policy

At Sleepy Sharky, we are committed to ensuring a seamless and efficient delivery experience for our valued customers. To help us achieve this, please review and adhere to our Order Delivery Policy, which outlines the steps to take in case of a failed delivery attempt and the responsibilities of both the customer and Sleepy Sharky.

1. Delivery Attempt

In the event of a failed delivery attempt, it is the customer's responsibility to rearrange the delivery as soon as possible. This may occur for various reasons, including but not limited to an incorrect address, recipient not available, or other delivery-related issues.

2. Customer Responsibility for Rearranging Delivery

Sleepy Sharky bears no responsibility for rearranging the parcel delivery in case of a 2nd failed attempt. The customer must take the following steps:

  • Contact our customer support team customersupport@sleepysharky.com promptly to inform us of the failed delivery attempt.
  • Provide accurate and updated delivery information, including the correct delivery address and recipient availability.

3. Deadline for Parcel Retrieval

If the parcel is returned to Sleepy Sharky due to the customer's failure to rearrange delivery or provide necessary information, the customer must contact us within 14 days from the date of the failed delivery attempt to arrange for the re-delivery of their order.

4. Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with the re-delivery of their parcel. This includes both the standard shipping fees and any additional charges for special delivery services, if applicable.

5. Consequences of Non-Rearrangement

Failure to contact us and rearrange the delivery within the specified 14-day period may result in the following:

  • A 50% restocking and administrative fee will be deducted from the order total.
  • A $15 USD Shipping Fee will be applied to cover the cost of returning and resending the parcel.

6. Refund Policy

In the event that the customer decides not to rearrange the redelivery or is unable to do so within the specified timeframe, the refund for the order will be processed as follows:

  • 50% of the order total will be retained as a restocking and administrative fee.
  • The $15 USD Shipping Fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

7. Returned Due to Address Error

Our policy for addressing errors and returned packages due to address inaccuracies is straightforward. In the event of such issues, a redelivery fee ranging from $15 will be applied, with the exact amount determined by the destination country of the items. This fee covers the cost of reshipping the package to the correct address and ensuring successful delivery. We encourage customers to provide accurate and up-to-date address information to prevent any inconvenience or additional charges.

Note: Sleepy Sharky reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis, depending on the circumstances surrounding the failed delivery attempt. 

We do not issue refunds or order cancellations for packages lost in transit when being returned to us, unless the customer has purchased Priority Shipping & Protection with their original order, only then can we proceed with an investigation.
